अधूरी हैं ये रात
अधूरे हैं ये दिन
वक़्त ये बीत रहा हैं
इंतेज़ार में गिन गिन
लफ्ज़ तो अपने जगह मुकम्मल हैं
फिर भी गीत वो अधूरी हैं
उस एक ताल के बिन
उस एक आवाज़ बिन.....
नज़ारे कई हैं हर्सू
फिर भी जाम अधूरा हैं
मिले ना वजह कोई पीने की
खुशी या घम के बिन....
डूंडा तो मिला प्यार मुसाफिर से
पूरा भी और अधूरा, सफ़र ये...
अपने ही जो पराए हुए-
समझाए बिन, टुकराए बिन....
अधूरी हैं ये रात
अधूरे हैं ये दिन.....
Days are incomplete,
So are nights....
In the anticipation,
time flies unnoticed....
words in the composition are perfect,
yet the symphony seems incomplete
without that one note,
without that one voice......
Mesmerizing views are everywhere to drink,
yet this goblet is not enticing nor I find a reason to drink
cause there is no happiness nor pain (emptiness!)
Found love even from a stranger,
filling, yet incomplete is this journery of life
for, my own have forsaken me -
without a reason or an explanation
Days are incomplete,
So are nights......
